It’s true-preparing clean, whole food meals from scratch can be a labor of love. Fortunately, there are many products available that have saved me time and effort. Here are a few of the tools that I use almost daily.
Yogurt Maker

One of the staple foods on the SCD diet is homemade, 24-hour fermented yogurt. It is packed with probiotics and tastes amazing! Some InstaPots have a yogurt setting, but I have been using a yogurt maker and am very happy with this one.
Yonanas Soft-Serve Machine

This inexpensive, handheld tool purees better than you would imagine…often better than my food processor! Use this to quickly make dressings, sauces, and soups. It’s awesome!
Food Processor and/or High Speed Blender

I use mine almost daily! From pureeing lentils for hummus, to mixing an almond flour dough for grain-free bread, to quickly chopping vegetables for homemade coleslaw, this kitchen tool is a MUST HAVE!
Immersion Blender

This inexpensive, handheld tool purees better than you would imagine…often better than my food processor! Use this to quickly make dressings, sauces, and soups. It’s awesome!
Silicone Liners and Parchment Paper

With grain-free baking, cooking spray or greasing with coconut oil just isn’t enough. Save time and clean-up headaches with silicone and parchment liners for muffin tins and cookie sheets. I use both!
